Betty Abah is an award-winning Nigerian journalist, and a women and children’s rights activist. She is the Founder of CEE-HOPE, an organisation which works with vulnerable children and girls across Niegria. She practised journalism with Newswatch and TELL Magazines (Nigeria), and with the Rocky Mountain News in Denver, Colorado, USA before joining the human rights movement in Nigeria.
Ms Abah has won several local and international awards including the Alfred Friendly Press Fellowships, USA, the John Knight Health Reporting Fellowship, the Kaiser Family Foundation Fellowship, USA among others. Her published books include Go Tell Our King (poetry), Sound of Broken Chains (poetry) and Mother of Multitudes (biography).
